Recreational Running aims to ensure that the content of activities is based upon current theory, understanding and practical knowledge. All persons who organise, lead, supervise or otherwise assist in the provision of activities are required to be accredited by UK Athletics, or considered by the Association of Running Clubs to be competent. The accreditation of such persons must be valid during periods in which they organise, lead, supervise, or otherwise assist in, any activities.
